Eitan leads Sheridans’ Technology and Data Practice, providing legal, regulatory and strategic advice to businesses of all sizes, whether business-to-business or business-to-consumer.  Eitan advises on SaaS contracts and all other software licensing and exploitation, data protection and privacy, IP protection, ecommerce and mcommerce, and early stage investment.

Eitan has particular experience in the online advertising and marketing sector.  For the last 8 years, Eitan has worked with the Internet Advertising Bureau, helping to shape the direction of its policy and assisting the preparation of its guidance and codes of practice.  More recently, Eitan has represented industry as part of the investigation of the Information Commissioner’s Office into the adtech sector.

Eitan was called as an expert witness to the DCMS Fake News enquiry, testifying on the use of personal data in online advertising, which was instituted in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica Scandal.
