Joel has 30 years’ experience in content, 22 specifically in digital and SEO, using content to inspire, inform and convert online.


He began his career in the music business in the ’90s before joining online travel start-up, in 1999. The business went on to be the leading provider of digital travel content services to the travel industry including Hilton, IHG, BA, Virgin Atlantic and Picking up a CIMTG (Chartered Institute of Marketing Travel Group) award for innovation in dynamic, personalised advertising for BA in 2006. It was acquired by Frommer’s Travel Guides and ultimately by Google.


Between 2009 and 2018 he was UK Managing Director of Travelzoo building an audience of over 5millions subscribers through a variety of digital marketing methodologies and picking up another CIMTG for SEO. In 2018 he was appointed as Vice President of Travel & Digital Solutions for TransPerfect, leading the global travel practice and in 2019 he also took on responsibility for digital marketing across Europe.


Joel supports global brands with their international growth through strategy, target market localisation, optimisation and market specific digital performance content execution.
