Kevin Young leads The Economist‘s global social media team, which is responsible for promoting The Economist‘s journalism – from articles and charts to films and podcasts – on platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Previously he oversaw Bloomberg’s social output for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, winning Social Media Team of the Year at The Drum Awards in 2018. Kevin spent 15 years at the BBC as a broadcaster and digital journalist, having started his career in commercial radio in Scotland and London.
