Mark started his marketing career with Pernod Ricard, working on the Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky brand. A hugely successful live streaming campaign on Facebook in 2011 (the Ballantine’s Human API) led Mark to focus on Social Media Marketing.
Mark moved to head up the global Social Media team at Hotels.com (an Expedia Inc brand) in 2012, where he established an extensive revenue generating paid social strategy together with real-time content marketing, improved social customer care processes and award-winning brand campaigns.
Having joined Sage in 2016, Mark now leads the global Social Media Marketing department, driving innovation in the ways the company uses Social Media to acquire, retain and engage customers, as well as empowering its employees as social influencers.
