Mario leads the Social Media and Marketing Integration program at AARP, the largest non-profit, non-partisan membership association in the US. He oversees strategy and management of paid social media and social media programs focused on specialized audiences including Hispanic/Latino and African American. Prior to AARP Mario led global social media strategy at the World Bank for six years, overseeing digital campaign development, senior leadership social media strategy, risk and issue management, and marketing strategy, and spent eight years leading marketing and digital communications for the World Bank’s publishing program.
