Mario has led the World Bank’s global social media and marketing program for the past four years, overseeing strategy and innovation for corporate social media channels in four languages. His responsibilities span digital campaign development, senior leadership social media strategy, risk and issue management, and marketing strategy. He previously spent eight years leading marketing and digital communications for the World Bank’s publishing program, successfully ushering the program into the social media era and transforming a traditional marketing program to a digital-focused one.
