Salvador Maldonado started and has grown his career in multicultural sales and marketing at Google over 10 years ago. He currently works as a Multicultural Media and Marketing Manager within the Multicultural Media Center of Excellence. In his current role, he designs media strategies to engage with Latinx and Black audiences for Google’s largest brands while consulting with product marketing, creative, content and go-to market teams on inclusive marketing strategies. Prior to moving to marketing, Salvador spent 9 years in sales consulting with agencies and Fortune 100 companies on digital strategies to engage with multicultural audiences across Google platforms.
He is originally from Mexico and moved to Chicago as a teenager. Salvador graduated from Harvard University and holds a bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in French. Outside of work, Salvador is passionate about mentoring young Latinx talent and spending time with his family and friends.
